Job summary

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is seeking a part-time Aerospace STEAM Instructor to promote and expand student achievement in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. You will work with the Education department, coordinating with program staff and volunteers across Denver locations.

Responsibilities include teaching 8–18 year olds, developing and delivering 3D visualization and printing lessons, and helping design onsite and offsite programs such as camps and workshops.

Qualifications

• Prior work in STEAM education for middle/high school.
• Wide range of STEAM skills including 3D printing, resin printer usage, laser-cutting.
• Knowledge of aerospace principles is desirable.
• Strong teamwork and communication; able to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Teach students ages 8-18 in Aerospace and STEAM lessons in museum/classroom settings.
• Design and implement onsite and offsite programs including camps and workshops.
• Maintain, organize and inventory curriculum and classroom supplies.
