Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an instructor to deliver hands-on STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness programs to PreK-12 students. You will teach in-person, using provided lesson plans and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

This part-time role requires reliable scheduling: Monday and Thursday classes at 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM, with compensation of $60 per hour per class and commitment to training and program standards.

Qualifications

• Part-time position.
• AA Degree (or higher).
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Consistency - Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction).
• Competence - Deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning.
• Communication - Engage with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - Deliver instruction from Nexplore’s programs with accommodations/extensions.
• Community - Engage families and empower each child to participate in Nexplore programs.
