Job summary

iFLY Holdings, LLC in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Part-time STEM Educator to inspire students through hands-on wind tunnel experiences and weekday field trips in the morning.

You will deliver in-person presentations, guide grade-appropriate activities, and collaborate with flight instructors and teachers to ensure successful program delivery while providing friendly, responsive customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, mathematics, STEM education or related field.
• Mastery of STEM concepts covered in K-12 curriculum is preferred.
• Experience teaching in classrooms, camps, museums, or STEM settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person presentations introducing grade-appropriate STEM concepts related to the wind tunnel.
• Collaborate with iFLY Flight Instructors to demonstrate object behavior in the wind tunnel.
• Facilitate grade-appropriate science activities or experiments.
• Engage with teachers and parents to elicit feedback about the Education Program.
• Work with staff to ensure successful program implementation and maintain communication.
