Job summary

RTX is seeking a student or early-career software professional for the Test Solutions Engineering team in Tucson, AZ. You will develop and integrate applications using C# and C++, troubleshoot and collaborate across engineering teams, following Agile/Waterfall lifecycles.

Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in STEM and have experience with C, C++, Python, and Visual Basic, plus Windows OS and Visual Studio.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions
• Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems
