RTX in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, is seeking a talented Software Engineering Intern to design, develop, and test safety-critical flight control software. You will work with experienced engineers, learn embedded software practices, and contribute to DO-178C compliant solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience with C and Python, IDEs, Git, and industry standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams on aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree and enrolled through internship / co-op.
• Must have a minimum of 90 credit hours by the start of the internship / co-op.
• Displays experience using C and Python

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test safety critical flight control software.
• Ensure DO-178C compliance for avionics software.
