Job summary

RTX is seeking a student-focused engineer in Tucson, AZ, to join the Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center. You will develop object-oriented software using C# and C++ in Visual Studio, debugging and integrating solutions across engineering disciplines.

You will work within Agile and Waterfall lifecycles, helping derive requirements and support software throughout the product lifecycle from lab to field operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic.
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions.
• Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems.
