Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to join the team focused on Windows-based software solutions for aerospace and defense applications. The role involves developing and integrating software using C++/C# in Visual Studio, debugging for reliability, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary engineering teams.

The position supports the full engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, tests, design verification, production, and sustainment, within a U.S.-based role that aligns with RTX’s

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
Experience with software development, testing, or integration using C, C++, Python, or Visual Basic.
Experience with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

Develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C# and C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio.
Troubleshoot and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and implement solutions.
Work within established software development lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Develop and derive requirements for software applications and systems.
