Job summary

RTX is seeking a full-time co-op/internship in Cedar Rapids, IA to join a team of Software and Systems engineers. You will design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into military platforms.

The program runs January–August, requiring full engagement and potential for future opportunities. Candidates must have a STEM degree by start date and experience with C/C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Work with Software and Systems engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems.
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment.
