Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Compton, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate for a temp-to-hire role on the 2nd shift (12pm–8:30pm).

You will follow safety policies, verify shipments, label and pack items, and support domestic and international orders. Requirements include 1–2 years of related experience, a High School diploma, Class C driver license, forklift certification, and familiarity with ITAR/EAR.

Qualifications

• Basic English literacy and ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Eligibility to drive (Class C license) with clean driving record.
• Forklift certification and knowledge of shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify shipments against packing lists and orders.
• Label, pack, and prepare goods for domestic and international shipping.
• Operate forklift and handtruck to move materials safely.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping and safety practices on the work floor.
• Create shipping documentation and records in the computer system.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure compliance with quality standards.
