Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Driver to support an advanced manufacturing operation in Long Beach, CA. The role handles daily shipping, receiving, inventory support, and local transport of high-value aerospace components.

Ideal candidates have hands-on shipping/receiving experience, strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to operate forklifts and related equipment in a safety-conscious manufacturing environment with ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with ITAR and safety requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Inspect, package, label, stage, and document incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify part numbers, purchase orders, shipping documents, and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability.
• Safely operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
• Load, unload, and secure materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Handle high-value aerospace and defense components with care.
• Communicate delivery schedules, delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, AS9100, and ITAR requirements.
• Provide daily status updates and support process improvement initiatives.
