RTX is seeking enthusiastic students and early-career professionals for Safety and Reliability roles in East Hartford, CT. You will perform quantitative safety risk assessments on gas turbine propulsion system flight safety hazards on commercial or military engines and develop models that combine engineering insights with statistics.

You will coordinate with PW technical experts to document engine event sequences and manage hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM or Mathematics.
• Strong interest in safety processes and propulsion systems.
• Exposure to Matlab, Python, C++, VBA, and Minitab is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform quantitative safety risk assessments on gas turbine propulsion system flight safety hazards.
• Develop models blending engineering insights and statistical methods.
• Coordinate with PW technical experts to document engine event sequences and manage hazards.
• Develop reliability analytics tools for hardware and software design trade studies.
