Job summary

RTX invites engineering students for a summer internship at our Middletown, Connecticut facility. The role focuses on instrumentation installation, routing, dressing, and termination to ensure reliable integration into engine test environments, with exposure to gas turbine and engine development projects.

Applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer engineering, or related STEM fields and remain enrolled through the internship period.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer engineering, or a STEM major.
• Actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Support validation programs and instrumentation installation for engine tests.
• Assist gas turbine engine development tasks at the Middletown, CT facility.
• Contribute to wiring, routing, dressing, and termination of instrumentation for engine tests.

Education

Engineering degree (ME/AE/EE/CS or STEM)
