Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking motivated students for internship/co-op opportunities with potential for full-time roles. You will contribute to reliability, safety analysis, and system safety requirements while being mentored by senior RMS engineers.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Engineering or STEM and have experience in systems, hardware or software development, plus the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Engineering or STEM and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Experience in systems, hardware or software development.
• Experience presenting technical information to peers, management, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to reliability and maintainability modeling, testability analysis, and FRACAS.
• Support safety assessments per ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882E.
• Assist systems, hardware, and software teams in defining safety requirements.
• Be mentored by Senior RMS engineers and participate in peer reviews.
