Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking a highly experienced System Safety Discipline analyst to lead proactive and reactive safety efforts for commercial and military engines. The role involves coordinating with program teams, regulators, and major manufacturers to sustain top-tier safety performance.

Ideal candidates will have a strong STEM background, extensive engine experience, and U.S. citizenship. Onsite work with international collaboration and travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 10 years of experience with aircraft turbine engine operation, design, or maintenance OR 7 years with an Advanced degree.
• U.S. Citizen – required to access information under this program/contract.

Aufgaben

• Lead the fleet in managing proactive and reactive safety to sustain world-class safety and reliability on Commercial and Military Engines.
• Collaborate with aircraft manufacturers (Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream) and Military Services (USAF, USN, USMC, JPO).
• Aid Safety Leads and Safety managers in issue progression with Program Chief Engineers and EPI management.
• Promote the Safety Management System (SMS) and Safety Issue Management (SIM) across RTX.
• Explain the quantitative safety risk assessment process and identify flight safety hazards.
• Support Safety Board meetings and assist in meeting preparation as needed.
• Travel up to 10%.
