Job summary

CesiumAstro in Austin, TX is seeking a Test Technician III to support electronics and RF test activities in a startup-like lab. You will design and execute test setups for modules and payloads, work with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, and other gear to produce reliable data.

Candidates should read schematics, build/test fixtures, document results, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot from component to system level.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Manufacturing, or related preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with active electronics and lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and report findings concisely and timely.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Create and document complex test setups with instrumentation and cables.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures for production and validation.
• Perform measurement validation of test solutions and instruments.
