Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Test Technician III to develop and execute module and payload test setups, validating performance with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and other lab gear. You’ll work with engineers to troubleshoot electronics and RF circuitry from component to system level.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with active electronics, strong documentation skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment while aligning with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS in Electronics preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with active electronics.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical assembly documentation.
• Ability to create documentation to support build and release of test solutions.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and provide concise and timely reporting of findings.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities and resources.
• Create clean, intricate, and well-documented test setups with instrumentation and devices under test.
• Create thorough documentation with meticulous attention to detail and high quality.
• Assemble and validate custom test fixtures and cabling for test stations.
• Perform measurement validation on test solutions to validate instrument and cabling performance.
