Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. seeks a Receiving Inspector to support multiple projects in Severn, Maryland, responsible for inspecting parts and materials and ensuring conformance to drawings and specs.

You will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to support prototypes, NPI, and production builds. The role requires a Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one, plus 5+ years QA in receiving inspection, and proficiency with precision measurement tools and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of recent quality assurance in a receiving inspection environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and internal/external audits.
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment.
• Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformance.
• Examine electronic components and in-house drawings for defects.
• Review supplier certifications and packing slips for compliance.
• Identify and document defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials.
• Provide QA ownership and oversight of Receiving Inspection labs.
• Participate in MRBs to handle nonconforming materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
