Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. in Severn, MD seeks a QA In-Process Inspector to support projects across multiple sites. You will inspect electro-mechanical assemblies, read blueprints, and ensure conformance with customer specs using micrometers, dial indicators, and measurement devices.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing for NPI and production builds. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, IPC/NASA certifications, and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in Electro-Mechanical QA or Aerospace quality inspection.
• Must have IPC/A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 or NASA workmanship certifications.
• Experience with visual, in-process and final inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; US citizen.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow engineering and quality documentation, drawing/blueprints, process flow charts, manufacturing travelers, and work instructions.
• Understand and contribute to performance metric reporting.
• Assist in determining Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.
• Hands-on prototype and new product/process introduction builds.
• Perform highly detailed, in-process and final inspection activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
