Job summary

Bastion Technologies, Inc. seeks an in-process QA Inspector to support multiple projects in Severn, Maryland (on-site). The role inspects, measures, and verifies in-process and final products against specifications, using micrometers, dial indicators, and various fixtures.

Candidates must have 5+ years of electro-mechanical QA experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The position involves working with engineering and manufacturing teams on prototypes, NPI builds, and production,

Qualifications

• Requires Secret Clearance or ability to obtain; US citizen.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5+ years in electro-mechanical manufacturing QA or aerospace/NASA inspection.
• Experience inspecting electronic components, PCBs, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with handheld inspection equipment and microscopes/magnifiers.
• Solid understanding of aerospace component acceptance criteria (cable harness, PCB, soldering).
• AS9100 knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing lab environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow engineering/drawing/blueprints and work instructions.
• Contribute to performance metric reporting and root cause analysis.
• Assist in determining corrective actions.
• Hands-on prototype and new product/process introduction builds.
• Perform detailed in-process and final inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
