Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL seeks a capable inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team, focusing on tight-tolerance components. You will program, set up, operate, and assist multiple inspection technologies, performing first article through final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in aerospace dimensional inspection, GD&T knowledge, and strong communication. We value safety, accuracy, and collaboration as we advance space access goals.

Formación

• 1 - 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Blue light experience/ Data Analysis.
• Blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 standard.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
• U.S. citizenship or visa status as required.

Responsabilidades

• Program, setup, operate, and assist multiple inspection technologies.
• Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections.
• Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data.
• Document, track and complete discrepancy reports.
• Maintain and track inspection equipment calibrations and support process improvements.
