Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Receiving Inspector & CMM Programmer in Fairfield, CA.

You will perform incoming inspections, verify conformance per drawings and PO requirements, and support CMM programming and inspection activities to ensure aerospace material quality. The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and precision measurement tools, with experience in regulated environments preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in receiving or dimensional inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Working knowledge of precision measurement tools and documentation.
• Aerospace/regulated environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection of incoming parts and materials per drawings and PO requirements.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measurement tools and equipment.
• Review drawings and certifications to determine acceptance; document results.
• Support CMM inspection activities and log inspection data.
• Identify nonconforming material and initiate quality notifications as needed.
• Maintain traceability and inspect documentation packages for compliance.
