Abrams Airborne Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a precision inspector to program CMMs and Keyence systems, while also handling receiving inspection for aerospace components.

You will develop new inspection programs from drawings and CAD models, ensuring traceability and conformance to GD&T per AS9100 standards. Qualifications

• Experience in CMM programming or operation
• Proficiency with Keyence measurement
• Solid GD&T knowledge and ability to read aerospace drawings
• Strong documentation habits and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Program, run, and troubleshoot CMM and Keyence vision systems, and build new inspection programs from drawings, CAD models, and customer requirements
• Choose the inspection method, alignment, and measurement strategy for each part
• Perform first article, in-process, final, and source inspections
• Inspect incoming material, purchased parts, and outside processing against drawings, POs, and specs
• Review material certs, CoCs, and special-process certifications, and verify traceability
• Identify and segregate nonconforming material and support NCRs
• Spot dimensional trends and work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to fix problems at the source
