Job summary

Cummins Aerospace seeks an experienced CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector to support aerospace manufacturing and quality assurance activities in Anaheim, CA. You will program and operate CMMs, perform FAI's, and ensure conformance to engineering and AS9100 standards.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge and experience with MCOSMOS/PC-DMIS, plus capability to work independently while supporting production and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in precision machining or aerospace manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CMM programming experience.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
• Experience programming CMMs using MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS, Calypso or equivalents.
• Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections and FAIR documentation.
• Familiarity with AS9100 QMS requirements.
• Knowledge of ERP and QMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate, and maintain CMMs (Mitutoyo) and inspect to drawings.
• Create and optimize CMM programs (MCOSMOS/PC-DMIS/Calypso).
• Review drawings and customer requirements to define inspection plans.
• Perform FAI, in-process, receiving, and final inspections per AS9102.
• Document results and maintain quality records per AS9100 and procedures.
• Prepare FAIRs and documentation packages.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
