Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support multiple engineering and technology development projects within our Research & Development team in the United States. You will drive day-to-day execution, maintain progress visibility, coordinate activities, and escalate issues as needed to keep commitments on track.

You will partner with engineers to resolve obstacles and ensure timely closure, while growing into broader leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, materials, manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities, priorities and workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and follow-through on actions.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and standard PM tools.
• Export-control eligibility: U.S. Person status or authorization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day visibility of progress across multiple engineering development workstreams.
• Track actions, deliverables, dependencies, and schedules; drive timely closure of commitments.
• Resolve routine execution issues and maintain progress with team members and supporting functions.
• Identify emerging issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Escalate leadership-requiring issues with context and options.
• Serve as a day-to-day execution resource for engineering teams.
• Help navigate processes, interfaces, dependencies and obstacles.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and interdependent activity coordination.
• Maintain alignment with project priorities as plans evolve.
• Support development of schedules, milestone plans, trackers and dashboards.
• Maintain risk, issue and opportunity registers with mitigations.
• Assist with resource planning across multiple projects.
• Develop recovery plans when activities deviate from schedule.
• Prepare project status reports and reviews.
