Job summary

ITT Inc. in California seeks a Quality Manager to lead the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP while guiding continuous improvement projects. You will oversee audits, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering and production to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor teams, analyze quality data, and promote a culture of quality through training and measurable goals. Strong leadership and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' quality management experience in aerospace/defense.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP and certification processes.
• Experience with Six Sigma, FMEA, root cause analysis, and SPC; strong audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and continual improvement of the QMS per ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Ensure product quality via inspection, testing, and validation processes.
• Lead management reviews and report to senior leadership with data-driven insights.
• Drive quality improvements using Kaizen, Six Sigma and lean methods.
• Lead cross-functional teams to reduce waste and boost process efficiency.
• Report quality metrics, audit outcomes, and improvement initiatives.
• Advise on quality risks and strategic quality planning.
• Provide training on QMS principles and tools; conduct internal audits.
