Job summary

ITT Inc. - English US in California seeks a Quality Manager to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and NADCAP. You will lead QMS development, oversee audits, and drive continuous improvements with Six Sigma, Kaizen and lean methods.

You will supervise quality teams, collaborate with engineering and production, and report quality metrics to senior leadership while advising on risk and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in aerospace/defense quality management.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP.
• Experience with Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA, SPC.
• Audit experience (internal and external).
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with quality software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QMS implementation and improvement per ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Ensure product quality via inspection, testing, validation.
• Lead management reviews with data-driven reports.
• Drive Kaizen, Six Sigma and lean initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Benchmark against industry standards and adopt best practices.
• Map core processes and ensure quality in critical steps.
• Provide regular quality metrics and audit reporting.
• Advise senior management on quality risks and actions.
• Train staff on QMS principles and tools.
• Conduct monthly internal audits for QMS compliance.
• Promote quality culture through communications and workshops.
