Job summary

Ontic Chatsworth, located in California, seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality organization for aerospace products. You will drive inspection, CAPA, audits and compliance while building a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will manage the Quality team, ensure the Quality System remains effective, and interface with customers and regulators to meet requirements and readiness for surveillance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quality experience in aerospace, electronics or manufacturing with leadership.
• Knowledge of CFR 21, CFR 145, AS9100/AS9110 and related requirements.
• Experience managing Quality Systems including inspections, MRB, return materials and corrective action.
• Experience leading audits and maintaining audit readiness.
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site Quality activities across new, overhauled and production products, including inspection and CAPA.
• Maintain the effectiveness and integrity of the Quality System, including manuals, procedures and guidance.
• Lead Source and Receiving Inspection, MRB quality analysis and QA for MRO activities.
• Ensure customer, licensor, regulatory and government quality requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain site readiness for surveillance.
• Monitor Quality performance metrics and prioritise improvements from data trends.
• Lead and develop your team through objectives, coaching and capability development.
