Job summary

Acromil LLC in City of Industry, CA, is seeking an Aerospace Quality Engineer to lead quality control efforts across supplier and production processes. You will develop and enforce procedures to meet customer requirements and ensure products comply with specifications, ISO 9001 and AS9100, from incoming material to final inspection.

The role requires strong blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, metrology skills, and experience with SPC.

Qualifications

• Read complex mechanical blueprints.
• Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 GD&T.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gages.
• Experience with quality systems and ISO 9001 / AS9100.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Generate standard operating procedures.
• Perform complex dimensional and visual inspections per blueprints or specs.
• Audit quality systems to ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Review and approve purchase orders and work orders for quality compliance.
• Submit and track quality alerts and nonconforming parts.
• Back up QA Manager and prepare reports.
