Job summary

Ontic in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality function, ensuring products, processes and repair operations meet customer, regulatory and company requirements. You will manage audits, CAPA, inspections and MRB, while growing and coaching the Quality team.

Reporting to the Director of Quality, you will translate requirements into actions, maintain the Quality System, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven problem solving across the site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Quality experience in aerospace/electronics/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CFR 21, CFR 145, AS9100 and AS9110.
• Experience managing Quality Systems incl. inspections, MRB, return material, First Article Inspection, corrective action.
• Experience leading customer, regulatory and internal audits and maintaining audit readiness.
• Structured problem solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site Quality activities across new, overhauled and production products, including inspection, quality planning, First Article Inspection and root cause and corrective action.
• Maintain the effectiveness and integrity of the Quality System, including manuals, procedures and guidance.
• Lead Source and Receiving Inspection, MRB quality analysis and QA support for MRO activities.
• Ensure compliance with customer, licensor, regulatory and government quality requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and site readiness for surveillance.
• Monitor quality performance measures and drive improvements using data.
