Prometheus Energetics, LLC in Bloomington, Indiana seeks a Director of Quality to lead the development and sustainment of the company’s AS9100/ISO 9001 quality system as the business scales from startup to production.

The role oversees quality strategy, supplier quality, inspection, nonconformance, and continuous improvement, partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Programs to ensure safety, compliance, and mission readiness.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
Ten years of progressive quality experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing preferred.
Experience implementing/maintaining AS9100-based QMS and leading audits required.
Strong knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, SPC, calibration, and supplier quality.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Mansioni

Develop and execute quality strategy, certification roadmaps, budgets, and staffing aligned with growth.
Lead quality org and insure compliance with AS9100D/ISO 9001 requirements across lifecycle stages.
Oversee product, process, and manufacturing quality, including inspections, metrology, and quality gates.
Manage nonconformance, CAPA, and continuous improvement programs with data-driven approaches.
Represent quality with customers, government, and suppliers; drive corrective actions and risk management.
