Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Quality Manager to own the AS9100 Quality Management System and ensure overall product quality across production and administrative processes.

In this role, you will lead internal and external audits, drive corrective actions, mentor teams, and coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing and Production to uphold quality standards and containment of nonconforming materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or management.
• 3+ years of quality checks on parts and AS9100 audits.
• Hands-on inspection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, including customer and registrar audits.
• Monitor quality performance and address issues impacting product quality in real time.
• Lead and drive corrective actions (8D, CARs, SCARs) across departments, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.
• Oversee supplier performance, including quality, corrective actions and on-time delivery.
• Provide training, coaching and guidance to employees regarding quality standards and expectations.
