MOHR Talent is seeking a hands-on Director of Quality for an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Columbus, MS. You will lead site-wide quality operations, drive strategic quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.

You will mentor quality engineers and inspectors, collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing, and build a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.

Qualificações

• Proven quality management or director-level leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong AS9100 and aerospace quality systems expertise.
• Experience managing audits, CAPA, NCRs, and supplier quality.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense manufacturing requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic quality initiatives with hands-on operational execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site-wide quality operations, strategy, and performance.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements.
• Oversee internal, external, supplier, and customer audits.
• Drive corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop quality KPIs and improve manufacturing performance.
• Lead and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and support personnel.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and executive leadership.
