Job summary
RTX, Pratt & Whitney division, is seeking an Inspection Technician in North Berwick, ME to perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts and tools. Onsite role requires using precise measuring equipment and following strict inspection data procedures.
You will handle measurements, document results, and assist in determining nonconformances while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining the Inspection stamp.
Qualifications
- Inspection experience (Non-Aerospace acceptable)
- Familiar with precision measuring equipment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient with computers and basic software
- Basic shop math and measurement interpretation
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges using inspection procedures and data.
- Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
- Perform calculations to determine nonconformance and complete required paperwork.
- Follow procedures to verify dimensions and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
- Identify when measuring equipment needs repair or replacement and coordinate accordingly.
- Support continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives and maintain inspection stamp.
