Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a skilled Quality Inspector to monitor vendor repairs on engine and subassemblies at the Tinker AFB site. You will verify repairs against manuals and specs, perform dimensional inspections, and ensure all certifications and forms are complete for quality compliance.

Typical requirements include an AA/AS degree with 6+ years in jet engine inspection or related fields and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with minimum 6 years in jet engine inspection, maintenance, machining or quality inspection.
• Must be able to qualify and obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of vendor repairs on engine/subassemblies and components.
• Verify conformance with manuals, operation sheets and engineering requirements.
• Review data to ensure defined repair processes are followed.
• Check forms, tags and vendor certifications for conformance.
• Take measurements during inspection as required.
• Inspect tooling, gauges and instruments for proper condition and calibration.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts for serviceability.
• Assist in quality system audits and document control.
• Archive production and quality control paperwork and certifications.
• Enter QC data into the computer system.
