Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and aerospace services, is seeking a Chief Inspector to oversee the inspection department and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality standards. The role supports the Quality Manager and may require occasional travel and extended work hours.

You will direct inspection standards, methods, and documentation used by repair stations, lead audits, and maintain regulatory records.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of inspection experience complying with Federal Aviation Regulations, or 10+ years of relevant inspection experience without degree.
• A&P license is required at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Pratt & Whitney Engine Services Internal Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance to FAA regulations, ISO 9001:2008 and AS 9100/AS9110 (as revised) requirements.
• Provide oversight of the PWES and MRT inspection process.
• Involved in Internal/External Audits
• Create, update, and maintain all regulatory documentation
• Conduct Risk and Opportunity assessments
• Ensure deployment of site Safety Management System (SMS) for PWES Product Safety and Product Quality requirements.
• Lead RCCA investigations
• Maintain Quality Metrics and KPIs
