Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced quality inspector for on-site work at Tinker AFB. You will perform inspections of jet engine subassemblies and components, verify repairs against manuals, and review data to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role requires an AA/AS degree with 6+ years in jet engine inspection or related fields and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Onsite work and rigorous adherence to safety and process are essential.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years in jet engine inspection, maintenance, machining or quality inspection.
• Must be able to qualify and obtain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of inspection duties monitoring vendor repair of engine/module subassemblies and components.
• Verify repairs conform to manuals, operation sheets and engineering requirements for safety of engine hardware.
• Review technical data and service repair sheets to ensure proper adherence to repair processes.
• Confirm forms, tags, and vendor certifications match established processes.
• Take measurements as required during inspection.
• Conduct visual inspection of tooling, gauges and measuring instruments for calibration and procedure compliance.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts for serviceability or reparability.
• Assist in orientating, evaluating and inspecting the work of others as needed.
• Archive all production and quality control paperwork and inspection certificates.
• Enter quality data into computer database.
