Job summary

Espy seeks a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming, in-process, and final components, ensuring conformance to specifications. The role involves visual and mechanical measurements, maintaining IPC-A-610 certification, and supporting corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (GED acceptable), 1+ year in manufacturing, and strong communication and teamwork skills. ISO/AS9100 knowledge and Lean tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Required: Able to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of personnel in the company.
• Desired: Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, Lean Principles, Quality Tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspects incoming, in-process, and final components for conformance to specifications.
• Performs visual inspection, mechanical measurements, and selected electrical measurements.
• Maintains IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist certification.
• Prepares First Article Inspection reports per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Supports source inspection visits and resolution of issues.
• Participates in problem solving and corrective actions.
• Works with Quality Engineers and Product Lines to drive improvements.
