Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Quality Inspector to join an aerospace-focused manufacturing team in Lake Elsinore, CA. The role involves final gatekeeping of quality by inspecting mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical parts to ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer standards.

You will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, verify drawings and specifications, review supplier documentation, and maintain inspection records.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or equivalent experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or quality-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections according to quality procedures.
• Verify compliance with drawings, purchase orders, and specifications.
• Inspect off-the-shelf items using technical data sheets and catalogs.
• Review supplier certifications, inspection reports, and test reports for accuracy.
• Maintain quality records and inspection documentation.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complete required reports.
• Stamp and date documentation as objective evidence of verification and acceptance/rejection.
• Maintain quality stamp control and sign Certificates of Conformance for shipments.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work environment.
• Interface with Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Material Control.
