Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of receiving, precision, mechanical, or metrological inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometer.
• Approve or reject items and document inspection results.
• Review certifications, specifications, and conformance to design requirements.
• Communicate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform surface plate inspection of machined aerospace parts.
• Support quality management system documentation and drive continual improvement.
• Inspect flight hardware at suppliers per drawings, PO, and SpaceX specs.
• Use electronic MRP to route parts to proper departments.
