Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Quality Inspector to perform in-process and end-of-line inspections on flight hardware for Starship, Falcon, and Dragon programs. You will verify conformance to design requirements, work with CAD drawings, and document anomalies, while collaborating with engineering to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

The role requires hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with aerospace standards and calibrated inspection tools.
• Experience with assembling and testing manufactured hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed in-process inspections on flight hardware using drawings and CAD models.
• Provide dimensional inspection and verification with precision tools.
• Document production and test anomalies per procedures.
• Communicate quality issues across sites.
• Process non-conforming product and assist root cause analysis.
• Observe operations and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate manufacturing compliance to NASA and customer specs.
• Support quality management system policies and continual improvement.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives.
