Job summary

Posimech Inc. is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure parts meet AS9100 and military standards. You will perform in‑process and final inspections of tight‑tolerance machined parts and assemblies, interpreting drawings and applying GD&T.

Proficiency in CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso/PC-DMIS) and experience with aerospace quality systems are required. A high school diploma is needed, with ASME GDTP certification a plus, and US person status per ITAR.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–5 years in aerospace/defense quality inspection.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
Proficiency in CMM programming and operation.
Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complex in-process and final inspections.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and apply GD&T principles.
Program, set up, and operate CMM (Zeiss Calypso / PC-DMIS) software.
Utilize manual measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and drop gages.
Document non-conformances and maintain quality control records in ERP.
