Posimech Inc. is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure parts meet AS9100 and military standards. You will perform in‑process and final inspections of tight‑tolerance machined parts and assemblies, interpreting drawings and applying GD&T.

Proficiency in CMM programming (Zeiss Calypso/PC-DMIS) and experience with aerospace quality systems are required. A high school diploma is needed, with ASME GDTP certification a plus, and US person status per ITAR.

We are seeking a qualified meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure our parts are right the first time, every time.

The Role

You will perform in-process and final dimensional inspections of tight‑tolerance machined parts and assemblies according to exact technical specifications. You will verify that all manufactured goods meet rigid AS9100 and military compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complex in-process and final inspections.


• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.


• Program, set up, and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using [Zeiss Calypso / PC-DMIS] software.


• Utilize manual measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and drop gages.


• Document non-conformances and maintain accurate quality control records in our ERP system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of hands‑on quality inspection experience in an aerospace, defense, or tight‑tolerance CNC machining environment.


• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.


• Proven proficiency in CMM programming and operation.


• Experience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100/ISO 9001).


• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or ASME GDTP certification is a plus).


• Must be a US person as defined by (ITAR) The International Traffic in Arms Regulations
