RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Asheville team seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure the airworthiness of aerospace components. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret drawings and specs, document results, and collaborate with Operations to resolve quality issues while upholding safety and quality standards.

This 3rd shift position runs Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 pm–7:30 am. The role emphasizes learning advanced inspection techniques and maintaining required certifications in a production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, inspection procedures, and technical specifications.
• Experience using Keyence, profilometers, or other precision measuring equipment.
• Experience with SAP or Solumina.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components, using drawings and procedures.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to verify dimensions and workmanship.
• Identify nonconformances and generate Quality Notifications (QNs) and perform problem-solving.
• Perform Solumina job audits and OpCert surveillance and over-inspects.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable customer, FAA, JAA, and other technical requirements.
• Develop proficiency through training and certification and provide support or training as needed.
• Maintain strong collaboration with Operations to uphold safety, quality, productivity and teamwork.
