Job summary

RTX is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division. The role is 2nd shift (3:30pm-1:30am, Mon-Thu) onsite in Wells, ME. You will inspect parts, tools, and gages using procedures, drawings, and manuals, determine nonconformances, and document results.

Must have high school or GED and be authorized to work in the U.S. The position supports continuous improvement and maintains inspection stamps.

Qualifications

• Inspection experience (Non-Aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills.
• Basic Shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gauges and other equipment using drawing data and procedures.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Compute nonconformance extent and complete necessary paperwork.
• Follow Work Instructions to verify dimensions and ensure procedures are followed.
