Job summary

RTX in Phoenix seeks a quality inspector to inspect incoming material, in-process and final hardware, and approve 1st article inspections. You will read blueprints, use calipers and gauges, and follow quality procedures to ensure conformance.

The role requires HS diploma or equivalent with relevant inspection experience, and offers a comprehensive benefits package. This onsite position supports production and EH&S objectives with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience
• SAP and learn Team Center
• Experience with calipers
• Experience with reading blueprints

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material and perform receiving, in-process, final inspection and 1st article approval of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components
• Read, interpret and utilize Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation
• Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks (e.g. JD Edwards, One World, Engineering Information System)
• Complete unit shakedowns and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness
