Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for our Canoga Park, CA facility to lead quality planning and execution across programs.

The role requires cross-functional leadership, deep knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will manage diverse engineering teams, mentor team members, and collaborate with government and industry customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 9+ years of related Quality experience; Graduate Degree with 7+ years; without a degree, 13+ years of related quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning and execution across programs; Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards into program execution.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost/quality metrics; maintain relationships with customer and government representatives.
• Lead Quality Integrators across multiple programs to ensure compliance with requirements; identify, document, and mitigate risks.
• Develop depth within the Quality group through mentoring and coaching; foster accountability and technical excellence.
• Define and implement strategic initiatives to improve quality metrics and reduce cost of poor quality.
