Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Quality Engineer to join our team in Canoga Park, CA. You will provide program Quality Engineering support across the lifecycle, from design through supplier collaboration.

Ideal candidates will hold a related bachelor's or graduate degree with 6+ years of quality experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. This role offers a 9/80 schedule and onsite work in Canoga Park.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior related quality experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related quality experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes engineering background to ensure requirement flow-down and hardware compliance to specifications.
• Participates in six sigma and Lean to reduce risk and improve processes.
• Drives corrective and preventive action with supplier and internal teams.
• Interprets drawings and specs to ensure customer and company quality requirements.
• Participates in Material Review Board for disposition of nonconforming hardware.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance.
