Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across defense programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction while guiding teams.

You will maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications, interface with DoD/NASA/FAA, and partner with Program Management, Engineering and Operations to embed quality throughout the lifecycle—from design to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or related field with extensive aerospace/defense experience.
• Graduate degree in engineering, business or quality management is preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 16 years of prior related quality management experience in aerospace/defense.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance operations and drive excellence across defense programs.
• Maintain AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications; ensure FAA/DoD compliance.
• Oversee manufacturing quality, inspection operations and quality engineering.
• Manage nonconformance and MRB activities; drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to embed quality.
• Interface with customers and regulatory agencies as a senior quality liaison.
• Mentor quality professionals and lead cross-functional teams.
