Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Los Angeles County team in the Canoga Park area. You will ensure supplier quality, drive process improvements, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to meet requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong machining supplier experience, knowledge of machining processes, inspection methods, and supplier quality systems within aerospace/high‑reliability environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of related quality experience, or Graduate Degree with 2+ years; in lieu of degree, 8 years experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Travel onsite to regional suppliers up to 80% of the time
• Experience working with machining suppliers in aerospace/high‑reliability environments

Responsibilities

• Review supplier processes and purchase orders for compliance with drawings and specifications
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
• Support Early Supplier Engagement activities and supplier readiness reviews
• Maintain supplier performance metrics and supplier scorecards
• Perform periodic source inspections at assigned suppliers
• Review and approve FAIs in accordance with AS9102
