Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manager of Quality Engineering for our Foley, Alabama MRO site. You will report to the General Manager and lead the QA/QE department, ensuring the site adheres to enterprise quality procedures and drives continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a university degree with extensive experience in aerospace quality. You will coordinate audits, manage non-conformances, and develop corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree and 8+ years of experience in quality engineering.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace structures and quality in aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA/QE department employees and assign duties.
• Manage all aspects of the QMS and ensure compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance to improve quality across the facility.
• Coordinate quality audits and report non-conformance with corrective actions.
• Lead root-cause investigations for customer escapes and defects.
• Support operations with technical guidance and vendor management.
